Nirvana Philosophy

We are eternally a part of the Universe. We come to earth with a specific purpose of understanding who we are and how we fit into the Universe by going through the life process on earth. Nirvana is the completion of our mission on earth. Upon reaching Nirvana, we eternally reunite with our origin, and we experience blissful solitude. This state of mind can only be achieved by conquering the evils within us, namely greed, anger, passion, etc.

The challenges every one of us face on a day-to-day basis is to enhance the Goodness inside us while containing the Evil inside us. The daily struggle we go through to overcome the challenges becomes meaningful when we keep our focus on the purpose of life on earth.

To understand who we are, we have to look inside us. Unfortunately, we cannot see what is going on inside us. So we have to evaluate our interactions with others, other life forms and objects to understand what is going on inside us. We spend our limited resources in reacting to the actions of others, instead of using our interactions with others to understand what is going on inside us.

Once we understand who we are, then it is very easy to understand how we fit into the Universe, where we are from and where we will be upon reaching the state of Nirvana.

There are multiple paths to reach Nirvana. Every religion teaches us different paths to attain salvation. It does not make any difference which path we choose to follow, as long as we successfully complete our purpose on earth.

The best way to incorporate the Nirvana Philosophy into daily life is to:

1. Be thankful for the day so that progress towards the purpose of life can be achieved.

2. Keep the focus on the purpose of life at all times.

3. Maintain physical, psychological and spiritual balance.

4. Look at every interaction with other people, life forms and objects as an opportunity to understand what is going on inside us.
